The June general meeting was the launch of the new CIRPP website. We feel we now have the premier website of any rental organization. The July afterhours (M.A.C.) on the 5^th, was a great gathering. A big heartfelt thank you goes to our M.A.C. sponsor, Paul Wynne of Cort. Cort supplies temporary furniture for residential and commercial rentals. Mark your calendar for August 2^nd for the next afterhours M.A.C at Esquire starting at 6pm.

The July general meeting on the 19^th was filled with great speaker information. First Mari Ann Brocker for the U of I presented the flow map of the University Street for U of I move in date. The featured speaker was Laura Sandefur from the Champaign County Board of Review. Ms. Sandefur covered a variety of topics that the Board of Review is involved in. How to appeal your property taxes created the largest audience participation. Ms. Sandefur covered several acceptable ways to appeal property taxes and provided the forms necessary. There was a lot of great and helpful information for all to receive at the July general mtg.
